PG Light Up the Tree, Inc's purpose as specified in Section 501C3 of the Internal Revenue Code is for Community Improvement of Punta Gorda and to manage and fund its annual Community Christmas Tree Lighting event festival during the first week of December. This is an event open to all at no cost to attendees. The corporation will also continue to add new decorations annually as the budget allows for our main street. The Directors are Community Volunteers that are active in the yearly Punta Gorda Christmas Tree Lighting Festival.
